Valuation of fine arts and collectables
We also value fine art, paintings, valuable antiques and furniture for the purposes of probate, and after such appraisals, we will provide a detailed and itemised "Written Probate Valuation", prepared in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs guidelines, which wil be unlikely to be questioned.
Works of art, antiques and higher value items are always assessed by one of our qualified chartered surveyors (RICS).
We are able to advise our clients of the best provincial and city auction houses, and arrange the transportion of antiques and art directly and on your behalf.

In addition to probate valuation, we can also clear the property of any remaining furniture and effects or residual content, the majority of which is recycled, re-used or donated to charity wherever possible.
As part of a clearance, or separately if required, we can assist in securing an empty property, provide deep cleaning , and garden restoration services, thereby ensuring that the property is ready for sale or transfer to a landlord.
Where necessary, we can also assist with our will finding service prior to a valuation and complete house clearance.
