Some interesting facts about Bermondsey:
Bermondsey is on the south bank of the River Thames, and includes the southern end of Tower Bridge. Other landmarks include HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, the London Dungeon and Millwall United Football Club. It includes the part of the river between London and Tower Bridges.
As an inner city area, it is famous for its draconian enforcement of parking restrictions, which means that it is probably better to visit the borough using public transport.
One of the most interesting tourist attractions is a T34 tank on a small piece of scrubland in Mandela Way. This has now been painted pink, and is a canvas for local graffiti artists.
