Cluttered house clearance, Hoarded house clearance, Extreme house clearance

Specialist clearance, cleaning and restoration services where the property is so cluttered and densely occupied that access is restricted or difficult, often as a result of compulsive hoarding.

We have considerable experience of clearing properties which are so cluttered with possessions that access is restricted. This often arises from a recognised psychological condition known as Compulsive Hoarding Syndrome.

Premises where this has occurred tend to present difficulties not found in an ordinary clearance. Often the sheer volume of possessions means that parts of the property have become inaccesible to the occupier, and vermin, damp, etc have started to damage the fabric of the building. Goods may be stacked in such a way as to create a hazard, where they could fall or and cause injury. floorboards are damaged, creating weak areas where it is unsafe to walk. In addition, there may be hazardous materials present such as asbestos, pesticides and chemicals which are now banned but which were legal at the time they were first stored.

In such extreme circumstances, we will survey the property, assess the risks, and ensure that it is quickly and efficiently cleared, withing the time agreed. The job may entail the removal of several tonnes of possessions, but we have the manpower, skills and equipment needed to deal with any property, irrespective of its condition.

Lofts, garages, basements and gardens can be cleared if requested.

As with a normal clearance, an allowance is made for any re-saleable items.

Our price is agreed before we start work so we take everything with no hassle or hidden extras. We believe it's unfair for the customer to pay by volume or by the load, it's not our practice and it nearly always ends up costing you more in the long run. Please refer to our testimonials where there are just a few of our many satisified customers.
