We are specialists in valuation for probate and the provision of written probate valuation reports in accordance with Section 160 of the Inheritance Tax Act (1984). We welcome enquiries from Solicitors, Executors, and members of the public. We can also arrange a full property valuation of all classes of land and buildings for probate purposes.
As the Inland Revenue have recently started to question probate valuations when not prepared by a professional organisation, the need to obtain an accurate, third party valuation of property or house contents by a RICS qualified, independent Valuer has now become essential for Executors wishing to avoid a possible HMRC investigation.
